Okay- wanting some input from those interested in attending: We can reserve a room up to 30 people but there is a minimum of $200 (before taxes and gratuities) in order to do so. Based on prices of their menu items, I think it would be safe to say that most people would end up spending about $20 and so I really don't think that it would be an issue. However, if there are more than 20 people, it looks as though they would prefer us to select from a buffet menu that they have rather than ordering individually. (And it would make it easier on them vs. separating bills). So I wanted to get opinions on this before calling and making the official reservation. Below are the options that we have for the buffets they offer. The prices quoted are per guest and includes chips & salsa and beverages (soda, ice tea, coffee...) They do not include tax or gratuities, which would be extra. My goal is to try and keep it around $20 per person, including tax and gratuities. But it will depend on what everyone wants. Enchilada Buffet: •Chile Con Queso •Mexican rice and charro beans •Choose three of the following: Cheese enchiladas- topped with ranchero sauce Chicken enchiladas- topped with sour cream sauce Steak Colorado- topped with red chile tomatilla sauce Shrimp enchiladas- topped with lobster sauce Spinach & Mushrooms- topped with verde sauce $14.95 per guest (3 enchiladas) Fajita Buffet: •Chile Con Queso •Mexican rice and charro beans •Beef & Chicken fajitas- served over caramelized onions, poblano and red peppers. Accompanied by cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, salsa and warm flour tortillas. $16.95 per guest There is a dessert buffet menu as well, but would cost an additional $3.00 per guest and I wasn't sure how many people would be interested. The menu allows to choose three from the following: •Cinnamon Crusted Empanadas- warm apples folded in a crispy cinnamon sugar crust •Texas Chocolate Cake- decadent chocolate cake with our homemade chocolate frosting and candied pecans •Strawberry Tres Leches- Traditional Mexican cake soaked in three milks with strawberries and white chocolate •Rollo De Canela- a cheesecake stuffed pastry shell rolled in cinnamon and brown sugar, lightly baked and drizzled with caramel sauce •Iron Cheesecake- rich classic cheesecake Okay- let me know what you think as soon as possible! And as soon as everything is confirmed, I'll be sure to post it so everyone knows where and when to meet for sure, exact cost and any other additional information needed! So- other than that- WHO IS EXCITED ABOUT AUSTIN?!?!?!?!
